Elizabeth Hasselbeck has a new book out titled Deliciously G-Free: Food So Flavorful They’ll Never Believe It’s Gluten-Free. I’m eager to check this one out. Her last book, The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide, was a life saver when trying to figure out just what my mom could and couldn’t have when she first went gluten-free. It was full of all of the sneaky terms to look for on ingredients labels and it was a great source for where to watch out for hidden gluten. This new book is a cookbook of 100 recipes of what is supposed to be easy-to-make and family friendly dishes for the entire family. They did a brief segment on The View about the book and they had the entire group of co-hosts do a taste test of the food. All of them agreed that they wouldn’t be able to distinguish the gluten-free recipes from more traditional fare. I haven’t checked it out yet, but I this is one that is definitely on my list of things to read. Once I’ve had the chance to read through and test some recipes I’ll let you know what I think.
